How does one become famous for what they do in any industry? They get visible.

What does that require? A combination of ways to gain visibility in one’s working radius.

Sometimes that will look like face-to-face networking. It is in your best interest to have an interesting business card that stands out though. Need one and aren’t sure how to design one? When you do that, it is always good to leave something behind that shares a little more about your business than a business card would do. There are signing agencies, title companies, field inspections, hospitals, and so many more. Pick out the ones that fit your services and reach out via email or stop by and share your offers. It is that easy.

What else can you do to get visible in your own town?

Wear branded apparel like shirts or hats. How many times have you been in a grocery store line and scanned the people in front of you and noticed what they are wearing? If your shirt has something notary on it, what a great conversation starter. If someone compliments you on your notary sweatshirt you have on, not only does that make you feel good, but you can ask questions about whether they are a notary or if they need one?

If no one starts a conversation, don’t worry. People are still noticing and thinking about it even though they aren’t asking directly. You are planting seeds. That is what happens when you get “famous” for doing something in a certain location – you become the go to person when they are in need.
